Job Summary
Initially under close supervision, individuals learn and perform a variety of duties in the construction and repair of sewer collection systems and related structures and appurtenances. The individual will perform both routine and skilled heavy, physical work in the construction, maintenance, repair, and operation of sewer collection systems, and related structures and appurtenances; operates a variety of hand and power tools; may operate a backhoe, loader, bulldozer, and other types of heavy construction equipment to construct, repair, and maintain sewer lines, roads, right-of-way's, and other wastewater collection system properties and facilities; performs related duties as required.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; two to three years' work experience in construction related work, water or sewer utility work preferred. Ability to obtain West Virginia Class C Wastewater Collection System Operator license. Must hold a valid driver's license, Class A or B CDL preferred.
